BIO FOR JACQUELINE BURGOA:

PRESIDENT AND CEO OF GROUP BENEFIT AGENCY

Jacqueline Burgoa holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the prestigious University of California at Berkeley and a master’s in business administration degree from Nova University Graduate School of Business. Burgoa spent several years working in Singapore, Bolivia and the United States. She is the President and CEO of Group Benefit Agency, Inc.

Ms. Burgoa is a member with several organizations including WBENC (Women Business Enterprise national Council) and FRMBC (Florida Regional Minority Business Council). She is an avid advocate of education and volunteers her time as a team leader for the Wardogs, a First Lego League Robotics Team.

Jacqueline Burgoa is the recipient of several prestigious awards including the National Dean’s List Award of Merit, the National Leadership Award Honorary Co-Chairman by the National Republican Congressional Committee, the 2000 Notable American Women and has won numerous awards such as: top 100 agencies nationally with United Healthcare, 5 top agencies in 1996, 1997, 1998 & 1999 with NHP and Humana President's Council in 1998 & 1999. Burgoa is originally from La Paz, Bolivia. She lives in Miami, Florida with her two boys, Scott and Stephen.
